Abstract:	The Spolien wall in the lapidaries at the Köllnische Park is located in the district Berlin- Mitte. The wall has been erected during the reconstruction of the park and the establishment of the lapidaries in the 1970ies. The lapidaries exhibit cultural-historic relicts of Berlin and Brandenburg in the public space. Among them are eighteen objects, remnants of demolished Berlin buildings that are set into a wall of boulder. Due to atmospheric conditions, vandalism and the use of false materials the continuance of these objects is endangered. This diploma thesis identifies the key sources and mechanisms of harm on the basis of natural scientific research. Top
