Overview:

Abstract: The peculiarity of daylight fluorescent colours is there appearance which based on reflection and fluorescent emission. For the fluorescence the colours use light with short wavelengths and ultraviolet light. When objects with these colours are exhibit there is often the problem that they can't fluorescent under the light conditions, which are typical in the conservation. The aspects of conservation must take into consideration because both the colour and the paper have a high light sensitivity. The colours loose their fluorescence and fade by the influence of light.
The thesis shows possibilities how to reduce the damage of the materials on the one hand and how to present their appearance in a museum on the other hand.
