On that account this study presents the pro and cons of techniques and variants of paper conservation compared to those of the conservation of paintings.Taking into account the conservation requirements of both departments also a concept to cleaning and crack closure has been developed. An implementation of measures to secure the conservation status was also content of this work. In addition, an approach to storage and transport was created and implemented.
