The Goggomobil is the most sold micromini car during the 1950s and 1960sin the Federal Republic of Germany. The Goggomobil presented here is in possession of the Cologne City Museum. It has been examined and treated in the course of this master thesis. The main issue of the theoretical examination focuses on the object´s history, the search for a concept and the presentation of the measure catalogue. The practical part of this master thesis comprises the execution of the conservation and restoration treatments, like the measure catalogue on the Goggomobil has proposed.
