Katharina Kühnl: The Renaissance-pulpit from the village curch of Frankenfelde Back
Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The Renaissance-pulpit is part of the facilities of the village church of Frankenfelde. It was created in the early 17th century, with the altar as an ensemble for the Lutheran divine service. It is made in the style of the late Renaissance and shows a manneristic character.

The construction, materials and the historical painting layers were investigated. In view of the already made reconstruction of the original polychromy at the altar, its investigation on the pulpit was of particular interest.

By the investigation sufficient knowledge about the original polychromy could be collected. Based on the condition of the pulpit a reconstruktion was discussed.
