Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The present thesis is developing new storage and usage possibilities for an inventory of recipe books an corporate documents of the Hardenberg-Wilthen AG. They should be stored under appropriate conditions of conservation and be digitized in the near future. The paper describes the conceptual approach from planning to creation of the conservation and utilization concept. In order to do this, the proposed ideal values for climate conditions and illumination, as well as the packaging systems and exhibition techniques recommended by literature are compared against each other and the desired conditions for the objects are determined. Based on those results, taking into account the existing conditions in Nörten-Hardenberg and the owner´s requirements, proposals for packaging, storage and exhibition are made. These options are discussed and implemented in accordance with the debate´s results. As a last point a poster is designed to present the final concept.
