Overview:

Abstract: This work includes an analysis of the inventory of the „Tower Chapel“ and its condition. In some cases an ensuing monitoring and air measurements are necessary to determine more precisely the causes and the expected future damage. The result of the diploma thesis are different concepts for the conservation and restoration treatment of the „Tower Chapel“. All proposed actions and methods have been extensively discussed and most were tested in practice. The discussion considered especially the possibilities of an ensuing monitoring. Accordingly, this work includes a concrete suggestion for the further procedure of a monitoring in the form of a „Monitoring-Catalog“.
