Based on a given example of a restoration in the Museum of Hamburg History (MHG) similar or refractory experiences are collected. To test the literature exmaples a practical sample is performed: The moisture absorption of parchment will be compared to the previously viewed literature. The results of the literature search and investigation are finally compared with the restoration in the MHG.
