Zusammenfassung: The basis of the diploma dissertation was a survey of methods of reconversion of gypsum concentrated near surface. Its main focus was the efficiency of a range of packs used in the process, combined with the concentration of agents used and the duration for which they were applied. A further test sequence confirmed the toxic effect of Bariumhydroxide on the micro-organisms found in Idensen. Bariumhydroxide could therefore be applied as an essential biocide agent. A range of fixativefor a pre-fixing process were tested for their compatibility with a porous system of paint layer on the one hand and with different methods of reconversion of gypsum on the other hand. Among other results opportunities for a reversible use of Casein were demonstrated. The extent of damage caused to the paintings by the former church choir was assessed. Research and analysis connected materials used between 1960-62 with present research data. This disadvantages of the actual esthetic presentation of the paintings presented in the surveyed area was illustrated by means photographic comparison.
