The topic of this thesis is conservation and restoration of the painting "Ein weißer Reiher", dating circa 1680, of unknown authorship, belonging to the "State Art Collection Dresden". The main topic was the stabilization of the canvas support, by mending the tears, inserting inlays and performing a Beva 371 lining.
