Zusammenfassung: This dissertation deals with the excavation technology of Seelow excavation site 2 and excavation site 16, including the digital documentation of the field observations and the presentation of selected ceramics and small finds. The vicinity of the Seelow 2 cemetry that had been excavated by S. Griesa and his team in 1968, as well as the results of the survey lead by M. A. Lascaris (BLDAM), led to the conclusion that in section 4+450 – 4+600, too, archaeological structures were to be expected. Section 5+050 – 5+175 is the discovered excavation site
Seelow 16. The exemplary structures excavated by A. Marx (BLDAM) and his team at the Seelow 2 site during the preliminary examination were mainly tombs, while at the Seelow 16 site settlement structures were found. Both sites were completely excavated during the main examination led by E. Völker (BLDAM) in the sections mentioned above and were related to the bronze to iron age (excavation site 2) and iron age (excavation site 16) respectively. On both sites two neolithic findings (rubbish pits) were found.
