Abstract: The document base on the question of the Kestner Museum to a plan for preventive Preservation for a three – piece men’s room furnishing ensemble. This has different damages. For finding the reasons, after identification and historical classifying, a description of construction was made. On this foundation a plane was developed, which refer to the preservative intervention directly to the furniture. The construction of the wall-to-wall cupboard set up priority. Furthermore the description of condition shows the influence of the object’s surrounding for the development of damages. Therefore the author prepare a catalogue of the preservative demands for illustrate it as the desirable ideal condition. Based on that, the results of a risk analysis at the location of the ensemble with the weak points are demonstrated. For reducing or exclude the turned out risk factors, specific recommendations for solution were developed. The document explain detailed, with which methods a better securing of the men’s room furnishing of the classical modern age in the Kestner Museum in Hannover during a presentation and a temporary store rooming is possible.

The document have a circumference of 138 pages and 144.078 signs, without empty signs and unless the appendix. 82 illustrations, including 33 graphics an 7 tables are contained.
