Abstract: In the main view of his following work are the deteriorations caused by excrements of insects on surfaces of cultural heritage.
Part of the work was a study of the in an experiment achieved deteriorations by fly excrement on different dummies with paintings of four materials, consistent of lime – casein, paraloid and lime, egg (technique temple) and linseed oil.
The flies were separated into two groups in different terrariums, one supplied with honey and water, one with egg white and water. In addition to the food and water the dummies were placed in the terrariums.
After five weeks the dummies and the deteriorations were analysed under the microscope and under the influence of ultraviolet light.
Then followed a view on the microbial growth on the dead bodies of the flies and the cocoons.
