Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: In the former minster St. Pankratius in Hamersleben in Sachsen-Anhalt, which was built at the beginning of the 12th century, is located a mediaeval mural painting in the apse dome, that shows the Last Judgement. The mural painting offers a strong damage by raised salt concentration.
Adverse climatic conditions advance dissolution- and crystallization processes of the available salt and thus the risk of more substance deficits.
Based on the current state of knowledge climate measures and more salt analysis were brought in process and evaluated in environment of this work.
Based on the results of these studies should be developed proposals for saltcompensation by a compress which is suitable for the object, as well as proposals for a suitable temperature- and humidity clearance and its stabilisation.
