Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The bachelor thesis „Artwork-attached Microfilm Documentation“ is about the idea to have a copy of the conservative documentation on microfilm attached to the artwork to prevent loss of data.
Contents are among others a historic abstract of the medium and explanations of the physical principles of microfilm and exposure by a lasers. Possibilities to re-enlarge the film are tested, based on optical tools typically available in a conservators workshop.
Finally, ways to attach and store the film at the object are considered.
