Oliver Kohn: Analysis selected aqueous polyurethane dispersions as cement of a self devise stone host Back
Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This diploma thesis is analyzing the characteristics of two fluid Polyurethandispersions as binder for stone masses. Some practical restoration reports are showing that a similar dispersion is successfully used for this purpose. It is my intention to determine the possible abilities of these binders in a self mixed mortar. I will use the Cottaer sandstone as a benchmark to define important criteria´s for this examination. This stone is a suitable benchmark for a self mixed mortar because it has a weathered surface. The attributes of the green mortar will be defined in practical tests to do a deeper scientific examination on chosen test objects that will be processed with the mortar. The research methods will be based on the conclusions of the term paper that has analyzed some characteristics of the Polyurethandispersions.
