Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: There are various techniques for building blood in the medieval wooden sculpture from the 14th century in Europe. The „Crucifixi dolorosi“ and „Vesperbilder“ are the ones where you can find it a lot. In this text you will see a clear and comparative overview for sculptural formed blood in the 14th century in Rhineland in Germany. But there are more special regions, where you find this technique. So this is one of the first steps in the direction of facing this technology and we hope that it is getting normal that you document the details and start the research in other regions.
