Saskia Blumenstein: Investigation of supporting inserts of inorganic composite objects under consideration of restoration-ethical aspects using the example of a Thaldorf ladies' shoe, Saxony-Anhalt Back
Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to
examine the production possibilities of staffages
that can be used in a restoration context.
Materials are to be evaluated and tested for their
suitability in relation to the context of a modern
women's shoe from Thaldorf, Saxony-Anhalt. Due
to the human remains found in the object, these
observations are to be carried out in an ethical
discourse on how to deal with these remains
appropriately in conservation, storage and
presentation.
