Anja Kiss: Investigations for acrylic injection mortar of scales on travertine stone of the Marienkirche in Muehlhausen Back
Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This paper offers a look into the development of an Injection Mortar formed by the use of an acrylic dispersion and quartz powder.
The investigations consisted of sceening methods used to determine the physical performance characteristics such as: adhesion tension, hygric dilatation and hygric values (i.e. capability of steam diffusion and water absorbtion).
This provides the possibility for conservation of scales on lime stone, such as the travertine stone of the Marienkirche in Mühlhausen, Germany.
