Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This thesis describes the use of close range photogrammetry based on single digital photographs as a recording method on archaeological excavations. The aim of the thesis is to describe the basic processes and techniques involved, as well as the planning and execution of this method with existing, non-expert excavation personnel. A further aspect dealt with is the output of digital data on analogue media. In a test series two programs are compared to each other and the results are analysed. Another part of this work illustrates the creation and processing of the digital data which serve as a basis for rectifying individual digital photographs.
