| Abstract: |
The historical-cultural part of the work deals with art chambers in general and the painting on stone in particular. Scientific examinations gave results in pigments and binding media of the materials used in the work. Black dolomite was analysed as the support and a tempera system based on oil, resin and gums for the colouring. The practical part deals with consolidation, cleaning and ways of retouching on this specific material.
