Abstract: A Wanderer automobile is being restored for the Audi plc company museum. The W 10/II vehicle, year of manufacture 1928, is being taken out of service after 67 years. Clear trances of use resulting from long service are recognisable. The thesis at hand will deal with the significance of Wanderer automobile and its exceptional features from a technology historical perspective. Extensive preliminary investigations are carried out, interpreted and combined in a basic work concept. Using examples, restoration measures are discussed and put into practice.
