Zusammenfassung: The present exposition deals with the examination and inventory of the historical interior ensembles of the Villa Vasel. The villa was owned by August Vasel who was an art collector, researcher and patron. The building belongs to a court arrangement in Beierstedt in the administrative district Helmstedt in Lower Saxony, Germany and is under monument protection/ conservation of ancient monuments and historical buildings. It was always been family-owned and is inhabited until this day. On the basis of a sphere analysis which has been carried out, the object investigations and the history of the house the most important causes for ageing phenomena and other damages are explained. In the same context advice on further use and maintenance of the historical interior has been developed.
