For the diazotypes of the asset of architectural plans of the architects Schaumburg at the municipal archive of the town of Neuss a concept of conservation will be worked out. After a basic description of history, manufacturing, utilization and identification of this photoreproduction technique the stability of the diazo copies will be considered more exactly. For investigations it will expose and develop by experiment sensitized paper from trade for the dry process and semi-moist process. At the selfmade diazotypes as well as selected diazotype prints of the asset there are conduct tests of aging and the results discussed. The discussion is made under the main aspects like light aging, deacidification and storage. Finally ther are recommendations for the conservtion
