Zusammenfassung: | Since the 1980s, calcium phosphates that set to become hydroxylapatite have been used as bone substitutes. Since it is easy to polish and can be worked into very thin layers, this material is interesting for stone restoration projects as well. This thesis explores relevant properties for stone substitute materials like water absorption behavior, change of length, solidity and resistance to weathering for differently modified recipes. Red limestone has been used as a reference material. Despite several good starts, not all attributes could be adjusted to the stone material in a way that the substance would be usable, especially concerning contraction during the drying process and the severe hygric expansion. At the same time the examination resulted in a few new approaches for further trials that could solve these problems. |
