Anna Motz: Wallpaperfragments from Hohenzieritz - object history, condition, storing concept back

Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: In search of a practical topic to work on during the BA-thesis, the opportunity occured,
to research the general cultural and specific object history, to register and relate the condition
and to construct a preserving storing concept for fragments of a bordered wallpaper
from a lately renovated Mecklenburg country manor.
A basis for examination was the following assumption, that, deriving from formally elaborate
furnishings of the manor house with several paper tapestries, next to the said fragments, only
an already restored plafond had survived.
