Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the study of two ceramic wessels. Both
vessels originate form the oldperuvian Vicús culture. The two wessels
belong to the collection of the “Roemer und Pelizeaus Museums“ and both
of them are coated differently.
In this thesis the state of both objects is recorded and a conservationconcept
is developed. A main question is,what the coatings exist of and if they are removeable or not.
