Kai Tauber: The Johannisfriedhof in Hildesheim- Recommendations of possible conserva¬tional measures back

Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The 47 tombstones at the Johannisfriedhof are protected monuments. The city council and the heritage office take care of the tombstones, and are re¬sponsible for preservation and maintenance. An inventory/Documentation of findings and a damage assessment for each object were made. A damage catalog and a harm glossary were made for allowing a damage classification of each individual tombstone. Capture, rating and classification of the tombstones are able to help taking care of these objects. Recommendations for maintenance in the future and conservational measures are treated also.
