Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This bachelor thesis discusses the possibilities and limits of flexibilisation for permanent or temporary reforming of an organic composite object. With the help of a modern women´s shoe from an archaeological context in Thaldorf, Saxony-Anhalt, ethical, technical and material-technical aspects are examined and assessed by means of humidification test series of the materials textile, leather and wood. The aim of the work is a well-founded evaluation of this conservation-restoration measure taking into account securing aspects.
