Zusammenfassung: This Bachelor-Thesis deals with the internal-blackening appliance for oscilloscope-tubes with a diameter of 13 cm. The internal-blackening appliance and other production machinery belong to the collection of the high-vacuum electronics. The majority of these appliances are own constructions of the Funkwerk Erfurt, which was founded in 1937 as the Telefunken factory and had yielded numerous innovative developments in various areas of electronics until 1989.
The internal-blackening appliance was build around 1960 and consists of a substructure of steel profiles. On this substructure sits a work-top made of Pertinax, which is linked to superstructures via screws. The superstructures form the motorised turntable with three brackets and an adjustable holding device. These can be adapted to the dimensions of the respective glass flask. An electric motor is attached to the work surface at the bottom. In the bottom area of the substructure, an aluminium-plated fuse box with the main switch is fitted.
Conservation considerations therefore require an assessment of the combined materials, their condition and the existing damages. The current condition is additionally documented by means of photographs, drawings and mapping. After an analysis of the existing damages, consideration is given to conservation and prevention as well as to the necessity of restoration measures. The focus lies hereby on the discussion on restoration in a well-maintained condition of use.
