Abstract: A bell consists of one resonnance body hanging on a yoke. Within the process of is production, the master of bell founding defines the specific tone through from, size and weight of the bell´s body. A secondary alteration of the bell´s sound spectrum is possible by tuning the bell.
Consequently, spetial attention is attached to the sound of the bell. This aspect is to be teken into consideration when restauring its single components.
