Rouven Kempkes: Influence of the conservation materials on the hygric dilatation of sandstone containing clay-minerals. back

Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The hygric dilatation of sandstones rules their weathering behaviour and is dependent on the quantity of clay minerals within the stone.
The consolidation of a “Schilfsandstein”, containing clay-minerals is examined on different consolidants in combination with an anti-swell-agent. The influence of the conservation materials on the hygric dilatation of the sandstone is the central aspect of the examination.
