Christiane Weisser: Human Saliva in Conservation and Restoration back

Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: Natural saliva is used in conservation as a slightly available and effective surface cleaning agent.
The work should summarise present knowledge with the help of a comparative literature search, update and show advantages and disadvantages. With the help of a survey among conservators the thesis should support that natural saliva still finds use among conservaters.
Main attention is laid here on natural saliva, however, synthetic saliva is also lighted up.
