This poster of the corresponding thesis aims to put together the information about the polyvinyl emulsion paints and uses this information for the formulation of the Master Class® tempera produced by the Artist’s Paints Manufacturing Plant Nevskaya Palitra in St. Petersburg. The history, manufacturing process of this paint colours and research of the additive materials in the PVAc tempera was also given special attention in this work. Another important focus was to screen typical degradation processes and the possible damage phenomena of PVAc emulsion and formulations. (master thesis written 2019, Hochschule der Künste Bern)
