Travel by car
Hildesheim is situated directly at the freeway A 7, whre you can reach Hildesheim from the north or the south. Please take the exit Hildesheim – No. 62 (Coming from the north, you must first pass exit “Hildesheim-Drispenstedt No. 61)
Toward the centre of Hildesheim you must continue the main road B 1 and continue straight at the roundabout.
Travel by rail
Hildesheim station is directly connected with the high speed train “ICE” to the most important cities in Germany.
Travel by air
Hannover airport is about 40 km distance from Hildesheim. From Hannover Airport you can reach Hildesheim by Taxi (45 minutes, about 60 €), by Shuttle Service 42 € (please book in advance, Tel.: +49 (0) 511 9772240) or by public transport (rail, tram and bus) in about 60 minutes, 9,10 €

Hildesheim is the cultural centre between the Harz Mountains and Hannover. Among the many historical buildings and churches, St. Michael´s Church and the Cathedral have been named as official historical monuments on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.
Especially renowned is the Egyptian collection of the Roemer- und Pelizaeus-Museum.
